Lurie Children's Hospital is holding it's annual prom and I've been fortunate enough to be asked to attend and shoot this event with the help of a close photographer friend Kristin Cashmore of Bellevie Studios.
Each time I've done an event for Lurie's, I've always come away feeling humbled. These children are true heroes that are fighting not only with determination but with a smile on their faces. It truly puts some perspective in your own life to witness such bravery. This event like many others helps the kids feel some regularity in their lives while they're fighting their respective battles and I'm proud to be part of it.
